I have been a student of personal development since I discovered people like Anthony Robbins and Napolean Hill when I was a struggling sophomore in college. At that time, I became intrigued to find out why some people achieved massive amounts of success in their lives while others seemed to struggle every step of the way.
One of the greatest things that I learned from my ensuing studies of achievement and success was the importance of your mindset. I discovered that our thoughts help to shape our results in life. The great part about this news is that there is only one thing in this world that we have absolute control over, and that thing is our thoughts. That works out pretty well, doesn’t it?
I was fortunate enough to be introduced to the philosophies of Jim Rohn when a friend loaned me a copy of Jim’s program The Art of Exceptional Living. If you haven’t listened to this program, I highly recommend it.
The common sense teachings that Jim shared in this wonderful program were very straighforward and easy to grasp, yet touched me as deeply profound messages. My favorite quote from Jim Rohn is, “What you have at the moment, you have attracted by the person you’ve become.” After implementing the things I learned from this program, I was able to focus and make some tremendous strides in my professional and personal life.
It wasn’t until some time later that I found out about the now industry-famous Jim Rohn Network Marketing audio program that he had created. It’s called Building Your Network Marketing Business, and in it Jim discussed his philosophies about creating a successful business and life. I recommend this audio program for anyone because the incredible message he shared transcends network marketing and business.

I was saddened to hear that Jim Rohn had passed away at the end of 2009. I found out while I was on ski trip in Sun Valley, Idaho. I thought about how this self-described “farm-boy from Idaho, raised in obscurity” had lived such a unique and wonderful life and was able to touch the lives of more than 4 million people worldwide.
He has left this industry with the incredible gift of the Jim Rohn Network Marketing audio program that will allow his ideas to be shared with generations to come. You can get a copy of this great program at the Jim Rohn website.

I did not know that Jim Rohn passed away last year. I heard is network marketing audio CD, and it was amazing. I have probably listened to it five or ten times. His ideas are revolutionary. I just wish I would have had the chance to see him in person.
